R&B number recounting the tribulations of being an aspiring song-writer in the 80’s; being assured that there was a break (i.e. a break-through) in the pipeline (i.e.imminent) and the awareness of the ambiguity in the phrase ’Break in the pipeline’ - it could also mean a disastrous event about to occur. Scored for 2 guitars, bass, drums, vocals and a solo instrument (saxophone in this score)
