BOOMWHACKERS PLAY CHRISTMAS is a collection of 10 short arrangements of popular Christmas carols The arrangements are written in 3 parts for groups of 8 to 11 players in total, but of course can be played by much larger groups All types of Boomwhackers are required to get the best out of the book. Diatonic set, chromatic set, high set and bass set. All notes are colour coded to match the Boomwhackers, and there are also instructions on every part with suggestions as to which tubes are to be played by each player. I’ve written most notes within the range of the diatonic set except for the occasional high note above the 3rd space, and some low notes below middle C as well. This is to make reading the parts more accessible to those new to reading music. Close attention needs to be paid to the instructions on some parts regarding octavator caps, as some notes should sound an octave below the written note. All bass boomwhacker parts are written an octave higher than sounded, in the treble staff also for ease of reading. The arrangements at the start of the book are relatively easy, getting harder further on. This is the 4th book in my Boomwhackers Play series.
