You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.I started out trying to write another meditation and thought this sounded more like a pastorale and then realized again that it sounds more like jazz! So I just call it Blues Pastorale. It starts out slow, has an upbeat swinging middle section and then returns with a short pastorale statement. You can use the tenor sax part as a combo lead sheet (transpose as needed for other horns) and use the piano part for a piano/guitar/bass part.
I just recently (November 2017) recorded this in Pueblo, CO with Richard Clark (drums), Carlos Crull (sax), Al Eberhardt (trpt), Angus Foster (bass) and myself on piano. It's a brand new but unmixed recording. It's always better to hear the actual instruments than the digitally realized sounds of a computer file. There's about 5 seconds of silence at the beginning.
