OK,it ain’t rocket science but even Charles Mingus started somewhere. My son and daughter have recently started playing double bass and cello and learned a simple open string 12 bar pattern. I would improvise blues piano all day if I could but not everyone can or wants to so the piano part is based on the sort of licks I play when doing blues in D.
