This piece can be performed with solo singers using mics or a larger choral group; it was originally written for three female voices and one male voice (the female voices all being quite low). The 2nd alto part could be taken by a tenor. The lower three vocal parts could be omitted but they add much to the texture. The guitar could be omitted from the rhythm section and the sax parts are identical i.e. it can be played on either alto or tenor sax. Feel free to duplicate vocal parts after purchase. Drop me a line if you want the whole thing in a different (probably higher) key. The recording was made at a wedding (thus the congregational singing) and the band has unintentionally picked up the pace a bit part way through….. but it should give you the general idea.
You will NOT need all of the parts - check the score carefully to decide which parts are most suitable for your group; eg, you can select piano with lead vocal or male vocal, drums with or without lead, alto OR tenor sax etc.
