Opposite to Sanctus, previously submitted to your attention, this section of Sympho Rock Requiem shows different approach to the issues of scoring: lamenting voice of soprano, distant phrases of the choir, disjointed motives of woodwinds, vibes, harp, sketchy rock elements (distorted guitar, a couple of drum set �brakes�), free-standing lines and keys � everything stays sort of apart. Perhaps a mood of some, say, stupor, is the only basis for keeping everything �controlled�.
