The listener becomes an eyewitness to the event we call Good Friday. The music sounds out loud, dramatic minor chords in the in the introduction and interludes and gives a somber flavor to the sad event taking place on Calvary. In the last verse, the listener is recalling the events and thinking that all hope is gone, but it ends in a resolved major chord, shedding a little light on the future and the resurrection yet to come.
