The second in of a set of four light-hearted songs written recently as a wedding gift for a friend and his bride, Madeleine. The MP3 recordings give a clearer representation of the songs than does the Scorch playback.
After having spent several years living in Paris, the groom is now a highly commended jazz-cabaret performer (singer and pianist) and latterly has developed a successful and lucrative career as an orchestral conductor doing international corporate �gigs� at which he presents the symphony orchestra as a paradigm for effective management and co-ordination of company personnel - (nowadays commonly referred to as �human resources� or simply HR).
I offer these snippets of biographical information in the hope that they will help explain some of the specifically personal and occasionally arcane references inherent in the lyrics.
