These four pieces are arrangements of traditional melodies from the Andes region of South America

1 Walaychu- A dance in moderate tempo from Peru.

2 Procession- Two tunes heard and notated by the composer in Puno, Peru in 1973.

3 San Juanito- A dance from Ecuador entitled Chacrita Caprichosa

4 Yaravi & Huayno. The Yaravi is a slow, sad melody and is followed by a lively Huayno, a dance found throughout the Andes region.

The primo part is about grade 2-3 standard.
