An Avant-Garde composition that suggests the act of creation of the Universe. Could be used for therapeutic purposes.
The most difficult thing is not to compose the music but to give it a title and to write about it. It seems not to be enough that the piece tells about itself by its contents during the time of its duration; no, one has to add one's own-blah-blah to it. And then, people ask, after playing the music: "And now, what is its name?"
This composition I started on 25 January 2018, and it was, as it happens always with me, that an idea came to my mind, and afterwards I gave it the Greek title Το ἀκουστικον (The Thing to be Heard). When I played it to my wife and myself, we both were overwhelmed and positively stricken by it, and so I thought about creation, and changed its name to "And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters" (Genesis 1, 2), which seems to be apt as to what the piece expresses.
