Reed quintets are making an impact in the chamber music world (just Google reed quintet if you're not convinced!), it provides a sonorous combination that appeals to me. While not the first place winner, Amongst The Windblown Reeds in Summer did receive second place honors in last year's competition sponsored by the Civitasolis Reed Quintet
