This is perfect as an offertory, a special or stand alone solo for your next service. The opening should be played as rubato and embellished as you like, and have a very "jazzy" feel to it. Complete freedom should be afforded in performance. The change to Holy, Holy, Holy should be seamless. It ends hugely! This is an arrangement for violin and piano of two of my favorite and most powerful hymns.
