It was originally part of the orchestral suite BWV 1068. It was given it’s familiar title when violinist August Wilhelmj transposed it into the key of C major and was able to play it using only the G string on his violin. This piece is perfect for weddings and other special occasions. This version has been arranged for two flutes and guitar.
