Six traditional songs from the north-east of England arranged into a suite comprising three movements. Two songs overlap in each movement… and the final coda refers back to the 1st movement. It should suit a brass quintet of moderate abilities. It has been used and enjoyed at outdoor events but would be equally suitable for use as part of a concert programme.
