This light-hearted duet was written in Mohale's Hoek, Lesotho, Southern Africa, in June 1967, when the composer was a volunteer teacher at a school there. Acknowledgements are due to his fellow teacher Mr Mpati's piano (largely out of tune and non-functional), at which the creative act took place.
