This is a piece for two guitars which was written as the backcloth for Edwin Webb's poem of the same name on the album "Gargoyle". This is available at www.elmvillagearts.co.uk.
The original used classical guitar, but the piece will work on steel stringed acoustic or electric guitars.
The theme of the poem is insanity. To reflct this, the tempo should be rather relentless and mechanical. Dissonances can be given more sforzando if desired. Similarly, it is left to the discretion of the performer whether to use an exaggerated vibrato, at least at times.
