In this Anthem I have tried to include some measure of its majesty and geometry, and the rhythm of the sea as experienced on the MS Oldenberg and from the Island itself.
There are hidden enigmas in the verses, and one - inadvertantly - in the music. To find some of the former, it will serve to have a knowledge of the Island - for the latter, an appreciation of a great English composer (with whom I am honoured at any association, though unwitting).
