This is a new collection of four well-known arias from the much-loved operas of Mozart. These are brand new arrangements by Dave McKeown, a highly experienced teacher, performer and arranger living in the South West of England.
The Arias in this collection are
- from The Marriage of Figaro, Voi Che Sapete, Mozart’s witty and warm evocation of teenage love
- also from Figaro, Sull’aria, Che Soave Zefiretto, the beautiful duet between the Countess and Susanna as they write their letter in the garden. This duet famously featured in The Shawshank Redemption.
- from The Magic Flute, Der Vogelfnger ich bin ja, the Birdcatcher’s song,
- and lastly, also from The Magic Flute, Bei Mnnern, welche Liebe fhlen, the duet between Pamina and Papageno.
