"Mo Li Hua", or "What a Fragrant Jasmine Flower" is one of my favourite folk tunes. It is very famous, having been used by Puccini in "Turandot" and Tan Dun in "Symphony 1997". Here, it is re-arranged for piano solo in a fashion close to the style of the Impressionists, although not true Impressionistic.
