I wrote this for a pupil to play with a friend who was learning the piano. The level of difficulty of the cello part is slightly higher than the higher, but as with any slow piece, it requires a level of accomplishment to really bring out the feeling in it. Do listen to the mp3 file. You'll hear that I'm not the most expert of 'cellists, but I hope it conveys an impression of how it might sound anyway! If you can provide me with a better mp3 recording to upload, I'd love to use it in place of my own scratchings!
