Michael Shaw

Michael Shaw is an American composer specializing in instrumental music for wind ensembles and an accomplished pianist, lending his talents to various churches in northern New England. His musical expertise extends to directing music for community theater productions and active participation in community wind and choral groups. Many of his compositions have come to life through the performances and recordings of local and regional musicians.

Residing in southern New Hampshire with his wife, daughter, and a lively assortment of pets, Michael finds balance through hiking and kayaking. Currently working on several new instrumental pieces, he eagerly anticipates collaborating with local ensembles for upcoming performances in the months ahead.
