In 2000, Mi-Young LEE was invited to join the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris where she worked with Edson Elias then Théodor Breu. The German master saw that in his pupil the romantic outburst threatens neither the clarity of interpretation nor virtuosity. At the same time, the young pianist pursued an international career as a soloist. A singular artist, Mi Young Lee plays today as a pianist-craftsman, tending towards the authenticity of his interpretation in the service of the purity of the music and the truth of the composer. She has deep within herself the desire to work the sound of musical notes as a sculptor would work his clay.
