Alejandro Sanchez-Navarro was born in Mexico City. He started his musical studies at the age of 10 at the National Conservatory and continued studying until he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from the prestigious Bennington College in Vermont in 1985.
Since then, Sanchez-Navarro has been recording and conducting his music at symphonic concerts produced by himself. He has performed his works in most of Mexico’s main concert buildings. His concerts have always been received with great enthusiasm.
Sanchez-Navarro founded The World Heritage Philharmonic Orchestra in order to divulge his music around Mexico with a series of Symphonic-Visual presentations whose main goal is to entertain while expanding people’s ecological and environmental consciousness. He is constantly invited as guest conductor to present his music in Europe, China, Africa and South-america.
His style and originality, along with his musicianship and his long-developed expertise as an orchestrator make of his work a splendid and unique product, rich in substance and emotions.
