born in 1957 (Luxembourg) first musical studies at the Conservatorys of Esch/Alzette (Lux) and Metz (France): trumpet; piano; composition) 1977: moves to Paris, studies at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris and at the Conservatoire National Sup?rieur de Musique de Paris ( final diplomas in harmony, counterpoint, fugue, analysis). Since 1983: -professor at the Conservatory of Esch/Aizette ; member of many examination-jurys in Luxembourg, Belgium , France and Italy.
Works: besides various chamber-,piano-,choral-music; several pieces for Brass-Band (e.g. "Red Earth" the test-piece for the European Championship 1995); 3 pieces for symphonic wind band; 2 works for organ; brass-wind ensemble; clarinet-sextett, a.s.o. Many of these compositions were commissioned and performed by outstanding ensembles of Luxembourg and abroad. His interest in electronics and computer technologies have brought forth some compositions using that medium.
Member of the Luxembourg sections of ISCM,ISME and SACEM.
