I graduated from Concordia Teachers College, Seward, Nebraska, January 1966 with a BS in Education, Major in Music (Pipe Organ). Before graduation I performed both an Honors Organ Recital in May 1965 and a piano recital in January 1966. I taught Elementary School in Corpus Christi, Texas for 12 years, worked for Southwestern Bell in Sales & Marketing and retired in 2004 as a Customer Service Manager. For the past 6 years I have been studying piano under Dr. David Sutanto and performed two solo recitals of various music. In 2010 I played two all-Chopin recitals in Malaysia and a repeat performance in Corpus Christi. I am currently working on a Sonata Recital with three sonatas by Mozart, Beethoven, and Schubert and am planning to add Sonata I by Prokoviev in the near future.
I have studied composition for the past 5 years under Dr. Neil Flory and compose for all various mediums which you can find on my web page. I also do arranging for whatever instrumentation is needed.
I studied harp for three years and have been playing for the past 24 years at different functions.
In the last six months I have taken up piano tuning self-study and just beginning to do full tuning.
