Iván Ignacio Rolón Tomás

I am a graduate concert pianist and orchestra conductor from the National University of the Arts, Argentina (Universidad Nacional de las Artes). At this university, I worked as a piano teacher and as an accompanying pianist in the master's program in orchestra conducting. Currently, I am a doctoral student in arts from this University. I started my musical education as a child. Then I had the opportunity to join a youth symphony orchestra and play as a soloist, chamber musician and accompanying pianist. In piano competitions I received second prize at the Chopin Foundation Argentina 2015 (Fundación Chopiniana Argentina) and second prize in the course and competition on piano concertos by J. S. Bach from the Latin American Association of Pianists and Pedagogues 2017 (Asociación Latinoamericana de Pianistas y Pedagogos). In the development of my artistic activity, I have performed as a soloist, soloist with orchestra, pianist in orchestral music, in chamber music groups, as an accompanying pianist, in the basso continuo and as a conductor of ensembles in various countries.
