Deryck Sterne

My formal education started in Jamaica West Indies. I received further education in England - U.K. I worked as a manager for the Post Office for 15 years. My total service years was 35. My interest in music started before I was 3 years old. My mother told me this.

I received no training in music, but always loved to sing. I currently am a member of The London Seventh-Day Adventist Malevoice Choir. There I receive basic music training from my Choir leaders.

From a spiritual sense, music is constantly in my head. I constantantly transfer what goes on in my head to music scores. I have had no training in that aspect. I will continue to try to reproduce what I hear to complement what I regard as God's gift.
