Anthony Whittaker

Anthony Whittaker was born in Warrington. He studied piano with Peter Wild and Organ with Ann Bond. After achieving the LRAM diploma in 1989, ARCO and LTCL in 1991, he graduated from the University of London in 1994 BMus (hons). He has also completed the Cert Ed and PG Dip in education at John Moores University and was elected a Fellow of the Academy of St Cecilia. He has MMus and PhD degrees from the University of Liverpool in composition. Anthony is an examiner for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music; Anthony has toured Australia, Hong Kong, Scandinavia, Spain, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand for the ABRSM. He is the Assistant Musical Director for Warrington Male Voice Choir. He is married to Stephanie and has two daughters, Charlotte and Amelia.
