She started having music lessons at the College of Music in Ghent and Lokeren, followed classes by different teachers as Mst. P. Norro (B), Ms. A. Kesteleyn (B), Mst. J. Duyck (B), Mst. L. Davies (UK), Ms. M. Harris (UK), etc … She never left the piano ever since …

While she was still actieve as a professional musicienne, she performed regulary in Belgium and abroud, classical & popular repertoire, followed masterclasses and gave music lessons in theory, piano, organ, etc … She specialized in A.W. Ketelbey's repertoire …

Since she has been diagnosed 13 years ago with i.a. a muscular disease wich affects her playing, she speaks through her own compositions for piano … The way she expresses herself best. Allthough she's not as strong as she used to be and live life on wheels (power wheelchair) now, she regains every day her strength to keep her passion alive: 'Music' !
