My particular interest is Christian liturgical music and sacred songs. I write mostly in a contemplative style for congregation, choir and keyboard (organ/piano) accompaniment, and occasionally for other voice and instrument combinations. I have set texts in the Celtic tradition from the Carmina Gadelica and some by David Adam and others. In 2006 Decani Music published 'Wisdom, the Spirit of God' a song I wrote for congregation, SATB choir and organ.I am a member of the National Network of Pastoral Musicians. I have attended composition workshops run by the Royal School of Church Music (RSCM), and composing workshops led by Malcolm Singer at the Canford Summer School of Music. I was awarded a Diploma in Sacred Music Studies by the University of Wales (Bangor) and the Royal School of Church Music in 2009.
