An imaginative and atmospheric piece about the family, where the central sounds of ancestral and the elder voices are sounded out by the contrabass, which acts as a kind of 'heartbeat'. This persistent sound is acconpanied by the use of roto-toms to signify the younger voices and heartbeat at the core of family nurturing and protection.
