Joseph Bodin de Boismortier (1689-1755) was a French baroque composer. This piece is one of six concertos Op.15 originally written for 5 Flutes. It consists of three movements. I. Allegro is bright and full of delight. In II. Affettuoso, the repeated motif suggests a meaningful conversation. In III. Allegro, the same motif is used. It is enjoyable to play this music with imaging the contents of conversations.
