Two jubilant Alleluias for Easter or other general use. "Alleluia" is an a cappella piece in additive style with 6 separate parts: texture thickens as parts are added with each repeat. I think of these parts as SATB plus two descants. "Alleluia!" is a 3-voice a cappella canon. I have successfully used these as Introits for Easter services; it's a great way to start the service. I've also used led them during Offertories when a jubilant feel is desired.
The mp3 consists of a live performance of "Alleluia" from a university chorale, and a computer generated file of "Alleluia!".
