This song was written about a kitten that appeared on my doorstep in the autumn. This kitten was hungry, sick, orphaned, and ready to fall over. To this day I don't know why, but that kitten and I bonded immediately. I named it Tic-Tac, and would sit with it after school for a good while every day. After about a week, I found out that Tic-Tac had been run over. To me, this song encompasses the shock and sadness I felt then, but serves as a reminder to never give up, lest I go down too.
