This composition was written for the Ars Lunga Duo that resides in Yerevan, Armenia. The piece is based on two contrasting subjects or motives, the first very peaceful and melodic and the other agitated and rhythmic. The main part of the piece is a working out in a variation like form the note intervals that make up the two subjects.
