Prior to that he taught in the public schools of Puerto Rico and Quincy, Ill. He has Bachelors and Masters degrees in music education from the University of Illinois and a Ph.D. in Education from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. The duets for flute and cello below are arrangements which I wrote for my daughter's wedding. Where practical, some of these have been adapted for trumpet and trombone. The works for brass and piano or organ are written mostly to accompany congregational singing. Most of the arrangements are for 2 trumpets, 2 trombones and keyboard, with optional parts for horn (1st trombone), tuba and timpani. Several of the arrangements are adaptations of organ works for brass and organ which work well as service music. If you use my arrangements, especially for worship, I would enjoy hearing from you. I'm always interested to hear about churches that still use traditional instrumental music. I would also be willing to customize any of these arrangements for your needs if there are specific instrumental changes you would like. I sincerely hope this music is useful to you. Or, if you have a particular piece (in public domain) which you would like arranged for brass, email me and let me know. I'm always looking for new ideas.
