Richard Grylls
United Kingdom
Richard Grylls has directed adult chamber choirs since 1987, and has enjoyed the occasional opportunities this has provided for him to compose or arrange pieces (of a very varied nature) for the singers. He started composing as a child and kept it up through university, where he was taught by Kenneth Leighton. He continued composition and arranging throughout his teaching career, his works including two children's operas, orchestral arrangements and a set of easy recorder pieces, one of which he heard someone whistling in the street recently - fame at last! In addition to the works listed here, a number of Choral works have been accepted for publication by Goodmusic incorporating Roberton Publications, including: 'A Royal Nursery Mudley' and 'Epitaph for Grace'.
