Richard Myers
I have had a passion for music as long as I can remember, composing tunes not long after I could reach up to a keyboard. I played the cello for a number of years in amateur orchestras - mostly around the Manchester area in the UK.
In the mid-nineties I studied on a composition course at Birkbeck College in London; this was followed by a number of private lessons. During this time I wrote a set of salon-style pieces for cello and piano some of which, after revision, I will be uploading to this site over the next few months.
My aim has been to produce a set of short pieces, hopefully of good quality which will be enjoyed by cellists.
I do hope you will like these pieces - I would love to hear any feedback about them or to know if any of them ever gets performed.
