As a seller on Score Exchange, you can sell licences or digital products directly from Your Messages.
What is a digital product?
A digital a product can be a Sibelius file / PDF (e.g. sheet music), MP3 (audio), JPG / PNG (image).
What is a licence?
A licence allows the customer to use your work for whatever purposes you specify. You can upload your own licence as a PDF file, or use our wizard to create your own.
How does it work?
- A customer contacts you via your profile page by sending you a message requesting a licence or product.
- You use the messaging system to discuss the exact requirements of the customer and negotiate a price you are both happy with.
- On Your Messages page click the add “product or licence” button.
- Follow the instructions to create or upload your licence or digital product and set a price if required.
- If you have set a price, the customer can choose to buy the licence or digital product.
- You will receive payment via your Score Exchange Seller Account as described in section 3.2 of the terms and conditions for publishers.
