This piece was started in 2007, but was sitting on my hard disk untouched for years, and I finally finished it in 2023. (The subtitle "Alternate Piece" is what the Sibelius file was called!) It is intended for a small community orchestra, and the subtitle was in fact Op. 4 No. 2, as if it was to go with the little Perpetual Motion I wrote, although I have rejected that notion because the orchestration is different, notably having only one of each wind/brass instrument instead of two. At this point, I'll probably leave it as a single-moment piece.
