This is a fun-to-play, tongue-in-cheek arrangement with a few quirks, in the form of a theme and three variations ending with a short coda. It was written for the Shenton College Year 11 Clarinet Quartet and first performed at the Tim Winton Young Writers Awards night at Subiaco Library (Perth, Western Australia) on 8 August 2011. The students had been learning for 6-7 years and were all enrolled in the specialist music programme.
