Peter Warlock's short but sweet setting of Adam lay ybounden for ten piece brass ensemble, suitable for the Christmas period. The flugelhorn and 1st trombone share the melody, coming together at the end. Potential purchasers should note that the rest of the brass should be very much 'sotto voce' throughout. The muted sections make this easier but is more difficult to achieve when all play open at the end. Alternate parts for brass band instrumentation included. Constructive comments welcome.
