The opera was premiered by Derby Opera Workshop in the actual building where Mary Queen of Scots stayed during her visits to Buxton during her imprisonment in Derbyshire. Apart from the familiar Latin prayer, a prayer written in "old" French by Mary herself is interjected by the altos.Anyone interested in hearing more about the opera is invited to contact the composer.
